Sarah Colligan, Marriage & Family Therapy Intern

I know it can feel difficult to talk about what is happening in your life, especially when it involves relationships, sexuality, anxiety, grief, or experiences that may feel confusing or painful. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported—without judgment. I believe therapy works best when it feels human: built on connection, curiosity, and honest conversations that help you feel seen and understood.

As a clinical intern in Marriage and Family Therapy, I work from a relational and systemic perspective, which means I view challenges within the context of your relationships, experiences, and the systems that shape your life. Together, we can explore the patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck, understand where those patterns come from, and create meaningful change that feels realistic and sustainable.

I work with couples, families, and individuals navigating relationship concerns, communication struggles, anxiety, and life transitions. I especially enjoy helping clients strengthen communication, better understand recurring relationship dynamics, and work through relational challenges that may feel difficult to navigate on their own.

I am also working toward a specialization in supporting those who are processing religious trauma, spiritual abuse, and the lasting effects of purity culture. I am passionate about helping clients reconnect with themselves, strengthen their relationships, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and aligned with who they are.
